Reviews should be genuine, useful and fairly presented.

Foodforfolk permits a shopper to review a vendor through an order only after collection or delivery is recorded as complete. This order link supports a genuine-experience label; it does not mean Foodforfolk endorses the shopper's opinion. A shopper may update their published review through the available order journey.

A review must reflect the author's honest, relevant experience. It must not be fake, commissioned, copied, misleading, abusive, discriminatory, threatening, unlawful, or contain another person's private information. Vendors and others must not submit reviews while pretending to be customers or arrange reviews intended to distort ratings.

No one may buy a positive review or condition an incentive on sentiment. If Foodforfolk ever permits an incentivised review, the incentive must be prominently disclosed and the reviewer must remain free to give any honest rating. Undisclosed incentivised reviews may be removed.

Reviews may be checked automatically or manually for relevance, prohibited content, manipulation and authenticity. Foodforfolk does not remove a review merely because it is negative. A review may be withheld or removed where there is a reasonable basis to believe it breaches this policy or the law; ratings and review information will not knowingly be presented in a misleading way. Foodforfolk's controls are informed by current Competition and Markets Authority fake-review guidance.

A vendor or reviewer can report a review to [email protected], explaining the specific concern and supplying relevant evidence. Foodforfolk may temporarily withhold disputed content where proportionate, will consider both the review and transaction context, and may reinstate, edit only with the author's involvement, or remove it.
